This new formulation has been specifically designed for our residential and domestic clientele, as a more cost-effective waterproofing material, that can be applied to a host of differing surfaces, for fast and effective application. These application examples include the likes of corrugated waterproofing applications, gutter waterproofing applications, concrete slab waterproofing applications and as a highly effective damp proofing agent.
The SW1000 material can either be applied by painting the affected surface area, or alternatively it can be sprayed to a surface area where large coverage is required. (We are able to provide all machinery required for installation of the material!)
The SW1000 material can be used in conjunction with our waterproofing material, acting as an excellent mechanical topcoat, and an additional waterproofing layer defense line. In keeping in line with our company ethos and waterproofing material, the SW1000 material is completely Eco-Friendly, non- toxic, HAP- free and VAP- free. Overall, the non-hazardous characteristics of the products ensure virtually no risks to the environment during the application and completion of installation.
One of the major advantages of the combined Waterproofing and SW1000 system, is that they are suitable for multiple types of surfaces and substrates. The characteristics of the mechanical is comparable to other products in terms of resistance to water penetration, resistance to acidic attack, resistance to weathering- such as humidity, salt spray and harsh temperature change.
The colour options available on the range are incredibly vast, and because the product line is locally manufactured, attempting to create a matching topcoat to an existing layer is quite a realistic task!
The SW1000 material offers guaranteed colourfastness, with a guarantee period ranging from 5 to 7 years! For high foot trafficable areas, the material offers excellent abrasion, chip resistance, with good hardness and impact- absorption.
Because of the vast elastomeric capabilities of the SW1000, the material has excellent flexibility characteristics, and operating on its own, will move easily with an ever-expanding building. Combined with waterproofing material, it is one of the few product lines that is actually able to keep its form while moving at the same rate. This of course ensures a longer lifecycle after an application, as neither one of the materials are able to split or crack- thus ensuring no water ingress can occur.
As a result of the flexibility, heat resistance and long lasting nature of the SW1000, less maintenance intervals are required, which reduces cost in the longer term, and presents an overall saving for the client. The product has good scrub resistance and washability, which allows the surface area to be cleaned regularly after application has been completed.
